A four - day wellness retreat for a mindbody reset in the fabulous Black Mountains of Wales

If you are looking for support to help you manage stress and anxiety you may have landed on just the right retreat for you.

 

Because we are going through strange times which are causing a massive increase in stress and anxiety you may feel like you need to get away from it all.  This retreat offers you the opportunity to do just that.

 

Combining relaxed walks over the fabulous Black Mountains, delicious nourishing food, fun work shops facilitated reflective space and the opportunity to experience solution focused therapy.  You can structure your own stay and join in the activities that will help to nourish you physically and mentally.

If you feel in need of guidance on how to support your general health as well as your mental health you will be in the company of three highly skilled practitioners who can give you plenty of support.

 

So if you feel in need of time to yourself, away from responsibilities, want to learn how to become more stress resilient, have the opportunity to explore emotional issues through counselling using intensive EMDR and other modalities and feel empowered to support yourself emotionally as well as physically, then join us on our mindbody reset retreat!

The retreat is offered to 8 guests only to ensure we can meet your wellbeing needs as much as possible. This will also ensure group cohesion and give you the chance of building long lasting friendships.

If you feel that stress keeps getting the better of you, that your anxiety levels are too high and you need a relaxed place to help you deal with this, you have come to the right place.
  During your time with us you will have the opportunity to be supported on a physical, mental and spiritual level by our highly experienced therapists Ryan Solomon,  Lucy Harper and Kay van Beersum.

  • The opportunity to work with an accredited compassionate psychotherapist to explore emotional issues through short-term solution focused therapy using EMDR and other therapeutic modalities

  • Healing with the breath workshops

  • Three delicious home cooked meals daily to experience how healthy eating can help reduce stress and anxiety

  • The opportunity to join in facilitated reflective space in a safe, friendly, warm environment.

  • Chocolate making workshop

Come and join us to learn in a fun, supportive environment! Our programme will give you the opportunity to eat healthy low glycemic meals and snacks that are delicious, nutritionally well balanced and so easy to recreate at home.

Meals will be mostly plant based, allergen free (including gluten and dairy free), seasonal, organic and local where possible, and delicious.

Home made healthy chocolate and a range of healthy snacks and drinks are included!

13th of May - Arrive from 6pm onwards, till 17th of May - Depart by mid-day

Set in the wilds of the Black Mountains, Fforest Barn Retreat in Forest Coalpit is about 10 minutes drive from Abergavenny. Accommodation is in stunning joined and converted barns. There is a range of single or shared rooms either in the barn or outside in a beautifully designed Eco-Pod, Romany Gypsy caravan or a Safari tent all with heating and comfortable beds within easy access to bathrooms and toilets.  

Therapy sessions will take place in a separate area to ensure privacy and a very relaxed and natural setting.

Accommodation

Select your room from the range on offer, some with ensuite bathrooms, some with shared bathrooms, some in the Barn, some in an Eco-Pod, Romany Gypsy Caravan or The Safari Tent.  All are comfortable, with heating and easy access to toilets and bathrooms and stunning views.  Accommodation is based on a first-come-first-serve basis.

In the challenging times, we feel that there is a need for people to learn how to manage stress and anxiety effectively.  As highly skilled and experienced therapists we love to share our tools and expertise

Following this last year, the need for both emotional and physical health has never been more important.  Our retreat offers:

Breath work, an ever increasingly more popular tool to handle stress and anxiety.

EMDR session to treat the possible root cause of your   anxiety and stress and help eradicate this.

We offer three packages to reflect the additional costs of individual one-to-one EMDR therapy sessions

MindBody Reset

  • 4 nights accommodation with full board

  • Tea, coffee, cold drinks and healthy snacks

  • Days spent with three highly skilled and (com)passionate therapists learning about stress resilience and anxiety coping mechanism

  • Food demonstrations and hands-on workshops 

  • Healing with the Breath Workshops

  • The opportunity to join in evening facilitated reflective space in a safe, friendly, warm environment

  • Chocolate making workshops

  • Time to relax, chill in the hot tub, make new friends or simply read or explore  

  • Guided walks on the stunning Wesh hills

  • A Wellbeing Coaching session can also be booked as part of the service offered

  • Simple but effective morning energiser sessions

  • Price £1050 for a single occupancy room in the barn or £950 for a shared room in the barn and £800 for the opportunity to be more in nature in the Wifi free accommodation.

MindBody Reset Silver

  • The same as above with the addition of 2 one-to-one 90 minute sessions with psychotherapist Ryan to explore emotional issues using short-term solution focused therapy.  During these sessions, a variety of modalities may be used depending on suitability and available time.  This could be EMDR, grounding work, internal resource building, safe place work and or psychodynamic therapy.  For this package an additional £195 is charged.

MindBody Reset Gold

  • As above but with the addition of 4 one-to-one 90 minutes session with psychotherapist Ryan to explore emotional issues using short-term solution focused therapy.  During these sessions, a variety of modalities may be used depending on suitability and available time.  This could be EMDR, grounding work, internal resource building, safe place work and or psychodynamic therapy. 

  • For this package an additional £395 is charged.
